Gynecomastia is defined as abnormal but benign growth of breast tissue in men due to an imbalance of estrogen and testosterone hormones. In some cases, gynecomastia can be seen in one breast and in some cases in both breasts. In some cases, it can affect both breasts at different levels and can be seen as different sizes of the breasts from each other. Gynecomastia is not seen as a serious health problem in many patients, but this can cause difficulties in daily life. In some cases, men with gynecomastia may experience chest pain. Depending on the cause of gynecomastia, spontaneous recovery can be seen in some cases, while in some cases, the solution of the problem may be medication and/or surgery.
